For the past few weeks we have been doing and all saints day poster.

I found it tricky to choose what theme it will be.
I enjoyed making the poster because it involved coloring in.

Sign Language Week

We read some articles and watched videos so we could learn more about New Zealand Sign Language.

This week we have been creating a screencastify to show how to do New Zealand Sign language. Here are some videos for you. I am showing you one of my mistakes and my good one. In my mistake one I forgot to show you how to do Thank You in Sign Language. It was tricky finding the right words to make it a good screencastify.

My art work

For the past few days we have been creating art work by Tom fedro. I found it tricky to do the black lining of the art work. I enjoyed painting both sides of the face. do you like art? have you ever done art work at school? tell me in the comments. Here is a picture of my artwork that I did. Tom Fedro is a artist that created the original art work of it. Learning intention: Walt use painting techniques.Success Criteria: we have used long paint brush strokes,both sides of the paintbrush, bright colours, bold lines and Tints and shade shades to show light.  

My Student-Led Conference

 This week we have being learning about a Student-Led Conference a Student-Led Conference is when the students parents come to their school and look at the Students art work and blog. We also had to make a invitation to invite our parents over the our school. I found it tricky to find out what I was going to say in my invitation. I enjoyed writing the invite to my parents.                                                         

New Zealand Olympic Mascot

 This week for inquiry we have been Creating a Mascot for New Zealand. I enjoyed making my Own Mascot for New Zealand. I found it tricky to get it done on chrome canvas in two days. My first Game

For the past few weeks, we have been coding games on Gamefroot. Gamefroot helps children and grown ups make cool games for other people to enjoy them. I found it tricky to try my best and have not finished my game because I was so behind. It took me ages to choose my background. I hope you like it. I enjoyed everything about it especially coding. Next time I would change my design of my game.

My June Reflection

This week we have been doing out June reflection. It shows how much I've changed in a photo of me, what I've been learning this month and what I've done and seen. I found it tricky to find out what the date was on our Matariki Breakfast. I enjoyed taking a selfie of myself and posting it on my June Reflection. Next time I would change my font writing in my June Reflection to make it look more interesting.

ASB get wise

This week for maths we are learning about financial literacy. Callum from ASB Get Wise came and talked to us about making a business to get money. He also asked us what our goal was or what we are going to buy. I said an iphone 12 from New Zealand it cost $1349 and thats alot of money. I reckon it would take a whole year to make that much money. I found it tricky to think about what I was saving up on. I enjoyed the whole thing of maths time doing stuff with Callum from ASB Get Wise and I hope that we do it again. Have you ever seen someone from ASB get wise? What was their name? Matariki

 This week for learning we have been learning about Matariki. I enjoyed writing and reading the story. I found it tricky to write the story in my own words. Next time I would change my writing to something more interesting.

My reading task

 This week we have been learning how to infer by reading the story of Perseus. Inferring is when the author leaves you clues but doesn't actually say it. For example, Perseus was brave because he saved his mother by killing Medusa.

How is Honey Made?

 This week we've been writing about explanations. We are learning how to use a diagram. A diagram helps the reader to understand. We also had to write down facts about it. Mine was how honey is made. You probably know by the label already. I found it tricky to find enough facts to fit into a whole story of facts. I enjoyed sharing this with you guys and writing about it. if you like the facts tell me in the comments.

My tapa art

 

this week we have been doing this art that my teacher calls tapa art. I enjoyed making it. I found it tricky to choose which patterns I should use. 
First we had to draw the patterns by pencil. Then  we had to grab a dark brown crayon and do some of the patterns. Then we had to die the rest.

My sketch of a kitty

For the past few weeks we have being sketching an anime character, I wanted to sketch Sonic because he is an anime character from this show that I watch called Sonic x. I  had to draw a kitty cat because I thought it would be weird to draw Sonic and I didn't really want to draw another anime character. Mrs Naden said that we could sketch an animal like the people last year in her class. I enjoyed sketching the Kitty. I found it tricky to draw the outline. 

  

My piskel sprite

 this week we have been creating a sprite we made something like our favorite animal or something else. I drew this cute kitty down below. I hope you like it. I enjoyed making my kitty. I found it tricky to save it and the end. another thing i found tricky was to find out how to download it on to my blog post.

The Ascension of Jesus

 This week we have been recreating the Ascension of Jesus. At that time Jesus met his disciples on a high cliff and rose up into the clouds and there was also a message. It said one day I will be back and I will take you to be be with me in heaven

i found it tricky to remember what the message that Jesus said. i enjoyed making the slide about it.  

   

My trip to the technology museum

 this week we have been to the technology museum we have learnt quite a bit about the olden days thanks to that museum i found it tricky to keep all of the information in my head i enjoyed going on the olden day school bus have you ever been to a museum? tell me in the comments. 

     

Using Time Connectives

This week we have been working out code to programme our Bee Bots. Bee Bots look like bee robots that are always smiling. Have you ever programmed a Bee Bot? I found it tricky to find the code because we had to keep on trying. I enjoyed taking photos of my Bee Bot.

How to do the sign of the cross

This week we have been making a screencastify to teach 5 year old kids to do the sign of the cross. I had to recast it three times as I kept on using the wrong hand, I choose to do it in English and Te Reo because the 5 year olds should know how to do it in Te Reo as well.  Here is my video that I did from the start all the way to the end.

 this week we have been learning about our maori culture i found it tricky to remember my mum and dad's culture was and it turns out that i couldn't remember my mum's culture but i did remember my dad's he is from new zealand i enjoyed writing about my culture next time i would change my facts about my culture                                                                what is your culture tell me comments

 this term this march was an astonishing autumn and fun because autumn is really fun to make stuff out of leaves and how pretty the leaves swooping bye the wind i can't wait for next years autumn.

Holy week

 this week we had to recite a story of jesus i enjoyed making the puppet show i found it tricky to find information for the story next time i would change the colour of my paper puppets.

Lent.

This week we've been learning what to give up for Lent. Lent is a season of preparation before the celebrations of Easter. Jesus walked through a desert without food or water for 40 days and 40 nights where he was tempted by a devil but he didn't listen to him.

I enjoyed colouring in my Lenten promise.

I found it hard to finish on time because I didn't know what to write on my blog.

tornadoes

 as we know tornadoes and big big round spirals that you created by gushers of air that comes through the surface so if I'm saying a supercell it's a supercell's fault for creating that tornado is getting a tornado also tornadoes are extremely dangerous and tornadoes your house can be broken so you will need to have a gushers of fear that come through the service so if I'm saying super it's super soft fall for creating that storm is getting a tornado also tornadoes are extremely dangerous and tornadoes your house can be broken so you will need has to be a pretty strong material to survive a tornado and not getting broken to little pieces what's also another word for smithereens. so what would you do if a tornado hit your country tell me in the                                                                                          comments
