My Frida Kahlo Art

This week we have been and last term we have been doing our Frida Kahlo Art.
I found it tricky to get the face done.
I enjoyed the painting part.
next time I would change the skin color.

My art work

For the past few days we have been creating art work by Tom fedro. I found it tricky to do the black lining of the art work. I enjoyed painting both sides of the face. do you like art? have you ever done art work at school? tell me in the comments. Here is a picture of my artwork that I did. Tom Fedro is a artist that created the original art work of it. Learning intention: Walt use painting techniques.Success Criteria: we have used long paint brush strokes,both sides of the paintbrush, bright colours, bold lines and Tints and shade shades to show light.  

My tapa art

 

this week we have been doing this art that my teacher calls tapa art. I enjoyed making it. I found it tricky to choose which patterns I should use. 
First we had to draw the patterns by pencil. Then  we had to grab a dark brown crayon and do some of the patterns. Then we had to die the rest.

My sketch of a kitty

For the past few weeks we have being sketching an anime character, I wanted to sketch Sonic because he is an anime character from this show that I watch called Sonic x. I  had to draw a kitty cat because I thought it would be weird to draw Sonic and I didn't really want to draw another anime character. Mrs Naden said that we could sketch an animal like the people last year in her class. I enjoyed sketching the Kitty. I found it tricky to draw the outline.
