Using Time Connectives

This week we have been trying to fit time connectives into our writing. Do you know what a time connective is? Have you ever had time connectives in your writing? I found it tricky to remember the story. I enjoyed writing about it.

     

Bee Bot Coding

This week we have been working out code to programme our Bee Bots. Bee Bots look like bee robots that are always smiling. Have you ever programmed a Bee Bot? I found it tricky to find the code because we had to keep on trying. I enjoyed taking photos of my Bee Bot.

How to do the sign of the cross

This week we have been making a screencastify to teach 5 year old kids to do the sign of the cross. I had to recast it three times as I kept on using the wrong hand, I choose to do it in English and Te Reo because the 5 year olds should know how to do it in Te Reo as well.  Here is my video that I did from the start all the way to the end.  

my culture

 this week we have been learning about our maori culture i found it tricky to remember my mum and dad's culture was and it turns out that i couldn't remember my mum's culture but i did remember my dad's he is from new zealand i enjoyed writing about my culture next time i would change my facts about my culture                                                                what is your culture tell me comments                                                 

   

term 1 goal setting

this week we have been learning about paoa,hineharkirirangi,kahuanui,hineakua and kiwa we also had to figure out which person was like our actions and personalities. i enjoyed thinking about what person was like me and the person that was like me was hineharkirirangi because the most thing that we are alike about is we are both confident. who are you like? tell me in the comments.

my march reflection

 this term this march was an astonishing autumn and fun because autumn is really fun to make stuff out of leaves and how pretty the leaves swooping bye the wind i can't wait for next years autumn.

Holy week

 this week we had to recite a story of jesus i enjoyed making the puppet show i found it tricky to find information for the story next time i would change the colour of my paper puppets.
